Templates for Joomla! 4.x • Working with the new protostar

Hi,
after having upgraded to J4, the next task is to rearrange the look and feel of my website so that it is presentable to the world. So I am now working on the template.

Initially, in J3 I was using protostar, and I found an equivalent https://joomlatema.net/free-templates/p ... a-4-5.html protostar template (Thank you to the developer!)
However, the original modules/positions and colors/fonts etc. are not automatically preserved some some work is necessary to make the appearance look good again.
The css coding is not exactly the same so even by checking the page with the browser inspector it's not easy
to find where I have to make the changes so that the appearance looks the same, plus I don't understand where in the back-end I would have to save the changes, which files in the Templates section of the back-end.
I wish there was an interface where one could modify the aspect and order of the blocks of the templates without having to resort to modify code files directly, since I have very little experience doing this, and I guess many are in the same situation.
Maybe there is some other template that can allow me to do this changes more easily even though I will have to redo the aspect form scratch?
Any help that can make my life easier :) appreciated
